DQ Employment Team contribute Isle of Man Chapter to ICLG

DQ’s employment team is heralded by leading law directory Legal 500 as “one of the strongest employment teams on the Island” so it is no surprise that once again the team has been asked to contribute the Isle of Man chapter to the International Comparative Legal Guide (“ICLG”) for employment and labour law. The ICLG series provides current and practical comparative legal information on a range of practice areas.  The guides follow a question and answer format to ensure thorough coverage of each topic within different legal systems worldwide.  The ICLG series provides a practical insight for general counsel, government agencies and private practice lawyers keeping them abreast of law and policy globally.

Director and head of the employment team, Leanne McKeown commented:

"We were delighted to once again contribute the Isle of Man chapter in this well respected publication.  The Equality Act 2017 is now being phased in on the Isle of Man and many new concepts are being introduced to the Island’s legislature, as well as a consolidation of many of the existing, piecemeal provisions surrounding anti-discrimination practise.  It is extremely useful at a time of such wholesale change for employment law on the Isle of Man that this additional resource is available to legal practitioners around the world.”

The DQ employment team comprises Leanne McKeown, Tara Cubbon and Jessica McManus.
