The new Legal 500 rankings, published today, demonstrate not only the excellence of our teams but also shine a spotlight on the next generation of lawyers - showcasing the rising talent within team DQ. Legal 500 rankings : Top Tiers, Leading Individuals & the Next Generation

Massive congratulations go to our employment and shipping, aviation and space teams who achieved top tier rankings in the new guide.  The employment team is noted as "one of the strongest employment teams on the island" and "a first port of call for commercially-minded employment disputes".  Head of the team Leanne McKeown is individually ranked as a leading individual, with a mention also given to her colleague Jessica McManus.  The shipping, aviation and space teams are praised for their "fast response times" with individual mentions to Mark Dougherty, Stephen Dougherty, Kirsten Middleton and Donna Matthews - who is praised both for her responsiveness and quality of work.  

Legal 500 introduced a new category this year of "Next Generation" lawyers and we were delighted to see Donna Matthews (Corporate & Commercial), Hazel Dawson (Banking & Finance and Investment Funds & Capital Markets) and Tara Cubbon (Private Client, Trusts and Tax) achieve richly deserved recognition.

Congratulations also to our directors that  were once again recognised as Leading Individuals in their field.  Mark Dougherty (Corporate & Commercial), Giles Hill (Dispute Resolution), Leanne McKeown (Employment) and Annemarie Hughes (Insurance & Pensions and Private Client, Trusts & Tax).

We are proud that these new rankings showcase the expertise and talent at every level within team DQ.  Almost every member of our team achieved a leading individual or next generation ranking or were mentioned individually.  Added to this, no team achieved less than a tier 1 or 2 ranking.  This is a fantastic achievement and testament to the calibre of all our team.
