DQ has developed an industry leading regulatory & compliance (“R&C”) services team with significant experience in advising clients on all aspects of R&C matters. We regularly advise clients in relation to information requests from foreign tax and criminal authorities under the Island’s TIEA network and MLAT. In recent years, we have increasingly been advising clients on full scale foreign tax investigations involving offshore structures and liaising with foreign tax authorities.
The upward curve in global compliance, increased regulation and tax co-operation is set to continue and DQ’s regulatory & compliance services team is well placed to guide clients through this increasingly complex minefield.
We engage regularly with the Island’s regulators on behalf of clients and our team is at the forefront of lobbying for pragmatism in any changes to the Island’s regulatory and AML regime. We also sit on several of the key government committees which directly impact and influence the Island’s regulatory and AML regime.
