As one of the largest dedicated employment law teams on the Isle of Man, we are recognised specialists in understanding the issues facing employers of all sizes.
Our employment team dedicates time to understanding our clients' business. Our ability to focus on fast, practical advice within a commercial context ensures the best outcome for our clients on issues ranging from day to day HR queries through to complex corporate restructuring and litigation.
We help our clients to implement their HR policies and manage risk from employment legislation by providing training to HR teams and line managers in key areas such as handling performance and disciplinary issues.
Our clients include trust and corporate service providers, banks, charities and both private and public sector employers.
The employment landscape is changing, with the introduction of the Equality Act 2017 on the Isle of Man and the EU General Data Protection Regulation which requires compliance by 25 May 2018. Our approach is based on making sure we are knowledgeable about the implications of these new pieces of legislation for your business so that we can provide assistance if you need it. We have launched an equality online training initiative - more details can be found here - and all of our GDPR team are progressing through the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection.
