We are regularly instructed by local insurance companies to defend a range of actions brought against policy holders, including personal injury claims and allegations of negligence. We also routinely accept instructions from the Medical Defence Union and the Dental Defence Union to represent their members in any range of matters, including representing a local GP in a 3 week Inquest into the death of an individual during the course of his detention in police and prison custody.
Notwithstanding the large volume of defence work undertaken on behalf of our insurer clients, we also act for a number of individuals in claims for personal injury, including clinical negligence cases.
