Ellen is a trainee advocate in the corporate and commercial team having completed her first seat in DQ’s dispute resolution department in September 2017.
Ellen advises on a wide range of commercial matters including corporate banking and finance, business and asset sales, the re-domiciliation of companies into and out of the Isle of Man, listed entities and insolvency.
Whilst undertaking her seat in the dispute resolution department, Ellen gained experience in many areas including personal injury, employment law, debt recovery actions and high-value corporate litigation.
Ellen remains a part of the private client and trust team and has experience in drafting wills and probate applications.
Ellen was educated at King William's College, Castletown, where she was head girl, before gaining a 2:1 honours degree in law at Lancaster University. She completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Liverpool.
Ellen passed her Manx Bar Examinations in November 2017.
